You are about to be the cheapest date ever.

Restaurant.com $25 gift certificates are usually $10. With this 80% off code below, that makes them $2.00. You read that right, a $25 dining certificate is $2.

Now, you have to read the obligatory fine print. Usually there’s a minimum purchase of $35 or $50 on a $25 certificate. But still, that’s a hell of a deal.

You purchase them and save them in your restaurant.com account until you’re ready to print it and use it. That’s it! It is at the restaurant’s discretion if they will let you use it towards booze.

Go right now to restaurant.com to get an extra 80% off their dining certificates. The coupon code is ENTREE and expires 11/12/09.

(Restaurant.com certificates expire 1 year from their purchase date.)

It’s Wednesday, what’re you doing this weekend?

Hey champ. It’s about time to sort it out where you’re gonna pass out.

If you live in Chicago or NYC, maybe this will help. MyOpenBar keeps track of drink specials and events by type and neighborhood. Hell, even if you’re broke, somewhere there’s a sponsored bar just waiting for you to walk in. This is the place to find it. You can also subscribe to their newsletter and they’ll keep you in the know every week.

Otherwise, Going is a cool place to find out what’s going on around town. From foam parties to symphony, Going usually has it on their calendar. And, once it learns what you like, it’ll start recommending events around town for you. Not to mention, I’ve hit a few afterparties via ‘exclusive’ RSVPs from this site.

As always, Metromix never fails. It’s thorough,¬†has more sites¬†and the user reviews are more robust. Also, they sponsored a night of free Jameson that I partied at once. What can I say, I’m easily bribed with whiskey.

Southern Comfort knows what’s up

They know how to keep people happy in a recession. It’s a fact – liquor sales go up in a recession. Why? People stay home to drink, I suppose.

SoCo’s got you covered. I saw this in my Sunday insert last week and literally laughed out loud. It’s a REBATE for buying several bottles of SoCo. The bigger the bottle, the more coin you get back. I’ve scoured the web trying to find a printable version of this but haven’t been able to. According to the fine print, there’s quite a few states in which this offer is void. Lame.

A rebate for being an alcoholic. Now THAT’s a new one. I back it.
